I just returned from a business trip to Germany it was a short five days! As I was traveling by train to my destination I couldn’t help but think of the beautiful landscape and how incredibly different it would have been 62+ years ago. What would I have found then? Bombed out villages, people on the verge of starvation, and a people in despair? Boy, what a difference that 62+ years make!
As a former Military Intelligence Officer I studied Germany’s military history and was quite familiar with the last 150 yrs of the Germanic peoples. As a passenger in a Nürnberg taxi I noticed the imposing site of Party Rallies. Those with a keen eye could still make out the remains of Deutsches Reich Adlers on the granite walls. Boy, what a difference that 62+ years make
Then the German women…I have lived all over the world, but for me, there is nothing more exciting than a strong willed, attractive, and intelligent German woman. Boy, what a difference that 62+ years make!
