Anti-Amerikanismus oder Elitismus?

I decided to hit anti-Americanism head-on today.  My short analysis of anti-Americanism in Europe is listed below:

Some Europeans display a moral superiority that is inconsistent with reality.  However, that does not stop leftists from protesting in the streets about no-blood-for-oil, but when is the last time you see anything of consequence protesting the Chinese, Iranians, Radical Islam, or any other despotic regime?  I would guess almost never! Even so that doesn’t stop leftists or cultural elites from perpetuating stereotypes of Americans and America. 

 I would gather that a large majority of anti-Americanism comes from disaffected youth that have never belonged to anything.  You know, like a family, a Church/Synagogue, youth group, sports team, etc.  Of course there are the Elites that like to look down their noses at American culture.  “What culture?”  That would be their response because we are more powerful, more self assertive, more religious (you know us right wing Christian fundamentalists), and more self confident.  Actually, I might disagree with you on the religious aspect.  It seems a large number of you Muslim citizens are quite religious.  But of course, Europeans are morally superior, which is a boatload of crap!

Contrary to what you think we are still your best friends.  Dismiss us at your peril, the way I see things, you have much more to worry about with your Islamist friends than we do.  They respect strength and abhor weakness.  Something I hope Europeans remember!
