hmmm…you know for a continent (europe) that has so many different people you would have thought that they could get some things right for once.

Okay, so I understand that Germans think that there is no social equality in America. You know we are different, I want to know what the hell is social inequality? You have got to be joking! The only social inequality there is comes from people’s choices…there is a reason why detroit and many of america’s major cities are screwed up, because do-gooder socilialist politicians think that their social tinkering is going to solve societies problems! Since when has the government done a good job of anything?

The only social equality I want is the government to stay out of my business and allow me to succeed based on my own hard work and personal merit! Besides my ancestors that left old europe did not need any government program or socialist benefit to succeed!

Wow, its been a while but I thought I better post something about one of my favorite subject, trees (Germanic Women’s hips are another).  In America I understand that they are saying things like, “the year without summer.”  I guess Barack Hussein Obama did save the world from the threat of global warming.  Or could it be the fact that my hundreds of trees (I planted without government assistance) are now beginning to soak up all that excess CO2?  I like to call my woods the Westerwald……unfortunately some of them do not have a lot of leaves this year because of the cold weather!  We had a number of days in the spring with hard frosts.

Trees make me think about my favorite blogger (and other things) in the whole wide world!  She once told me that her grandmother would have liked me because I liked to garden.  I was and I am very flattered, I am sure I would have liked her as well!

As I sit in  my comfortable chair and worry about graduate school I want to thank all my fellow warriors.  For giving me the opportunity to live in the peace and freedom I now enjoy.  For giving me the right to say no I don’t have to agree with you President Obama! 

For those of you that have made the ultimate sacrifice, thank you for allowing me to live the way I want to.  I love you and may you have eternal peace!

Well, well, well…..it has been a long time.  Many things have happend to me in the last several months.  Some good, some bad!  However, as always, what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger.

I saw this painting and I was wondering what she was thinking about?

Could she be pondering how foolish we have become to believe a bunch of global warming bullshit?  Or could it be that she wonders how easy it is to fool a large portion of the German population about the true Barrack Hussein Obama.  Or could it be that she cannot understand how conservatives could be blamed for all the failed mortgages in the United States?  Which brings me to the reason for my post.  How easy it is to convince Germans that what is right is wrong and what is wrong is right!

Just a few facts about the mortgage mess:

1.  I pay my mortgage and have never missed a payment, in fact I will have my home paid off in the next five years.

2.  This whole mess started with the law signed by President Jimmy Carter.  THE COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT ACT (CRA).  I won’t bore you with the details, but it basically forced banks to loan money to people with poor credit ratings!

CRA often required lending to uncreditworthy persons to get a satisfactory CRA rating, and it did indeed cause Freddie and Fannie to take on huge amounts of dreck. “The chief executive of Countrywide Financial, the nation’s largest mortgage lender, is said to have ‘bragged’ that in order to approve minority applications, ‘lenders have had to stretch the rules a bit.’” See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Community_Reinvestment_Act#Criticism and references thereto.  

2.  Then we have the openly gay congressmen Barney Franks whose boyfriend ran a prostitution ring out of Franks’ congressional office in charge of the private/governmental mortgage lenders.  This Bozo (see Bozo the clown) said a few weeks before the election that everything was great with these lenders.  What a fool, also did the liberal european press tell you that congressional democrats got favorable mortgages from the banks that they were supposed to be watching?  NO, I doubt it!

3.  Then the Clinton Administration rewrote the CRA to REQUIRE loans be made to low credit quality borrowers. And engaged FNMA and FRE to buy these loans.  So, basically these lenders had to give loans to people who really couldn’t pay them back……

4.  Many have asked why did not the Republicans change the laws?  This happens time and time again.  Republicans try to change laws like this and they are called racist and bigots and mean spirited.  Why would a conservative politician try to fix something like this pork barrel piece of crap law?  Some do, but in washington it is more important to allow illegals to get loans (they did and still do) than it is to enforce our laws!

5.  One final thing.  Republicans nor President Bush made people get home equity loans so they could have a vacation, or a big screen TV, or…. That is when personal responsibility must also accompany personal freedom!

So why did I title my post Deutscher Zeitgeist?  See picture below, and it is certainly not what Germania and I would hope of our German brothers and sisters!

Yup, unlike the people outside the US.  I have the right to decide who our next president should be.  I will not be intimidated by black panthers or anyone else.  I have the right to vote and you cannot change that! 

Oh, by the way, this is exactly why I will never vote for a Dumbocrat – never ever!
